Boy, that's a tough one! But I went with turkey because of one thing probably more than anything: the money I've spent on it. I look at it this way, if I spend THAT MUCH on ANYTHING, I must love it!!! I spend close to that much with deer hunting but not as much. Plus the interactiveness that turkey hunting provides is also another contributing factor there. Thank God we don't have to choose for real though, I'd be hurtin !

I'm with you phishy, bowhunting for deer sure gets me stirred up, but those beady little sharp eyes - wow, I went from bow to shotgun to TRY for a tom.

Gotta go with them long beards..I live and breath Deer hunting...but this darn Turkey hunting the past 4 years has just hit me in my soul. Like already said..something about being ON THE GROUND...in the open (well hidden..but not in blind or stand) and having to WORK to call them in, hearing them, seeing the hens and jakes and FINALLY those Toms?
Dayum..just hard to beat.
Deer is a dang close second though..

One thing that I would be doing, hunting with my Dad and my brother again. Then, it wouldn't matter what we were hunting.
