clean looking 1100 ghost. I own a few of them my self... It is a shame what is going on in Reminfgton the company. 1100's and 870's a pretty much the only guns they are going to make in the future rumor has it. Another great gun company going by the waste side.
When big gun companies merge it is not a good thing for the gun industry. for instance, Beretta. They own Benelii, Franchi, Stoeger and a few others. The problem is if Beretta goes under so do all the other ones. Even though Beretta runs these as seperate companies than itself, Beretta is the main company. same with browning and Winchester.... it is not great news what is happening in the gun world.

Sad thing is Beretta owns a percentage of Browning as well. You are absolutly right Xtrem.

That's a great lookin firearm you got there.Someone really took great care of it.Nothin like heirlooms. My brother and I inherited a collection of longguns.Assorted rifles and shotguns.Just love pullin one out of the safe and wonderin where it's been.Got a couple of old springfield 1903's and cant imagine where those rifles may have been.

Thanks again. My dad took very good care of his guns. He did a lot of hunting before I was born in 72' and after that he pretty much stoped and concentrated on his fishing. So, the guns were not used much after the mid 70's, about the only time they ever got used was when I came of age and started to hunt on my own. The one gun that I am paitently waiting on is a Winchester model 88 .308. It was produced back in the 50's and 60's. I'll see if I can post a pic of it if I can find an image on the net.
