Good for you Backwoods ,here in Mo my Bro and I have seen 15 bucks this week ,have around 100 pics on game cams and they all still have both antlers on .When we start getting smooth headed deer pics we are going to hunt for sheds but it feels like a waste of time so far.

is it just me or does it seem they are keeping horns on their head longer now than they used to? there are a few hear with horns still i have seen. i don't recall seeing it so late years back seems they were off by mid February at the latest. maybe i am just getting old and don't remember so well.

Country it definately seems they are holding longer each year.. I think it has to do with them breeding alittle later.. Heck i'm seeing young fawns in archery season that still have spots very visible. Thats tells me that some of the does definately are getting breed alittle later.. Anyways I went out today and found two more.. But seen two bucks with both sides on while I was looking..Here is a few pics..

I was all looking foreward to shed hunting, but then we got a whole bunch of snow and all the sheds are burried...

Country ,I think they are staying on longer than they used to but I'm getting old also so maybe it's just bad memory. A friend of mine shot a 160 inch buck with bow back in 1970 on Dec 31 ,his antlers were loose and they would not score it for him ,so he is not in the books.
